This menu allows you to change some commonly used preferences easily and without having to open the Preferences window. See the Setting Preferences section for detailed information about what each particular preference does. The menu commands available are:
ΓÇó Show Loose Pieces (command-L): this will make Jigsaw draw an animated outline around the loose pieces. Due to a limitation of the Mac drawing routines, not all the pieces may have an outline around them. This feature will be automatically turned off if you pick up a piece. This command does not work with games that have rotated pieces.
ΓÇó Reveal All Places (command-R): depending on what is the front most window, this command can do several things:
- If the front most window is a game window then this command will toggle the game window's Reveal All Places preference. If you hold down option before you select this command, it will also change the setting of all other game windows to that of the new setting of the front most window as well as setting the corresponding preference in the Default Playing Option area in the Preferences window. Any changed game windows are redrawn.
- If the front most window is the Preferences window then this command will only change the corresponding preference in the Default Playing Option area in the Preferences window. No game windows are affected.
ΓÇó Show Edges Of All Pieces (command-E): depending on what is the front most window, this command can do several things:
- If the front most window is a game window then this command will toggle the game window's Show Edges Of All Pieces preference. If you hold down option before you select this command, it will also change the setting of all other game windows to that of the new setting of the front most window as well as setting the corresponding preference in the Default Playing Option area in the Preferences window.
